Getting a Christmas Tree
The Krosschell Family tradition is to cut down a Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving. This year was so much fun because Caleb could actually run around help up pick out a tree. I guess I should not say "run" because he was tripping almost every step he took, whether it was a stump, his boots, or vines growing everywhere he would fall flat on his face but get right back up and go after it again. The whole family made it to cut a tree down. Good times, great traditions.
AHH......We found the perfect tree. It was almost Griswold style once we got it in our house :)

Orchard
This past Saturday we took the Krosschell annual trip to the Orchard. Brian, Tara, and James drove up from Chicago to go with us this year. Although the weather was not the greatest we still had a good time. Caleb LOVED picking the apples off the tree. He also chose a great pumpkin that ended up falling out of the car when we got home and rolled all the way down the street. Just a little bruised.

Summer in a Nut Shell
This summer has come and gone so quickly! I haven't updated in a while, so here are the highlights since I last posted.
Uncle Scott and Aunt Heidi got married. Caleb didn't quite make it down the isle. He lost it right before hand.

Meeting a new Friend
Recently my friend Sarah (a.k.a. Beamer) stopped by with her little girl Aliyah. As you can tell from the pictures there were good times and not so good times.

Aliyah and Caleb meeting for the first time. Wow Caleb, that's not nice.
Playing nice
Not so nice
Oh.........Alyiah going in for the big one. Priceless.

Camping
We went Camping with our Small Group from Church at Hungry Horse in Dorr last weekend and had a blast. Caleb did really well with sleeping (oh yeah after I drove home because I forgot his blanket and all his pacifiers). He loves being outside, and wandering around aimlessly. Good thing we were at a site away from everyone and there was NO traffic.
Between the six couples that went camping there were 9 kids under the age of 4, so we were a busy group.

Caleb was obsessed with this car. He would sit in it for hours. As you can tell he is not happy that he has to share it with Tyson.

Memorial Day and Family
Over the weekend we got to visit with my brother, Joey, and his fiance, Sarah. They live in Seattle, WA and they were home for a long weekend. My whole family was up in GR, so we got a chance to catch up with everyone. It was so much fun.
Caleb making a mess on his future Aunt Sarah's lap. That was his 3rd piece of the day.
Caleb was a little unsure of his Uncle Joey's beard. He cried every time Joey got near him, but as you can tell he warmed up a little.
Here's Caleb with his Aunt Sara, and other Aunt Sarah (not sure how he'll get those right)
Finally, after all that watermelon Caleb had what you call a little "sugar high"
