Tyler Chase Born July 22

Well, he finally arrived after a week of waiting. But the wait was WELL worth it. I went into the hospital to get induced on Wednesday night, and I was dilated to 5 since Monday at my doctors visit. My doctor said she would be shocked if I didn't call her that night or early morning...well, she was shocked when I told her I had 2 hours of contractions on Monday night and then they just stopped. So we went with the initial plan to get induced on Wednesday night. I had zero contractions overnight...but she broke my water at 9am, had the epidural by 10am, and our big guy was born at 11:45am. So, once I stared contractions things went very quick.
I was shocked when he arrived and all the nurses said "Whoa, congratulations on your toddler!" They wanted me to guess his weight and I said 9lbs thinking that was big, well...he was 9lbs 15oz and 22 in long. Caleb was 8 lbs 15 oz and I didn't think I would top that and I did. We are getting settled and Caleb is doing awesome with his little brother. He likes to give lots of kisses and he loves to help me burp him.

4th of July Weekend

Uncle Joey came into town for the week, so Caleb had a chance to hang out with his Uncle from Seattle. We're hoping to see Uncle Joey's Sarah (as we try to tell the Aunt Sara's apart) this week.
We drove to Kalamazoo to have dinner at Brunos Pizza and the guys went golfing. Caleb didn't go to sleep until 11:45pm!So...here he is the next day at lunch. He was SO tired.

The 3rd we went to the Hollyhock Parade. Caleb enjoyed the firetrucks the most, and he watched very closely and intently as they drove by (maybe a little confused).
Also on the 3rd we went to Cousin James first birthday party out at the Goei cottage.
Cousin James and his Basketball cake!

The 4th was busy too...
We went to church, then to the East GR Parade, then to brunch, and then to the Krosschells. Caleb enjoyed the sprinkler with Cousin James and Grandma.
