Tyler 2 Months and Baptized

Tyler was baptized on Sunday. Almost the whole family made it...we missed Uncle Brian, Aunt Tara, and James, Uncle Joey and Aunt Sarah. What an awesome honor and blessing from God to raise this little boy as one of his children.
Oh, and if you didn't hear....I was baptized again...not by the pastor, but by Caleb! While the pastor baptized Tyler Caleb was watching very closely. Caleb asked when he was finished "Can I have some?" (referring to the water), so the Pastor let him touch the water. Caleb then took the water and patted it on my head just like the Pastor did to Tyler. The entire congregation burst into laughter. It was a precious moment we'll never forget.

Tyler is 2 months already, and he is growing so fast. He is wearing 6 month clothes because he is ridiculously long. The other night he wore 9 month P.J's and the length was perfect, just a little boxy everywhere else. It is almost humorous when I put him in 1 piece pant outfits...they look like capri's!
Caleb is doing well adjusting...sometimes. He does strive for our attention by acting out in different ways, mostly hitting me (Holly), and throwing things. But we'll get through it.

Can you tell how ridiculously LONG this child is??

They resemble each other slightly huh??

Caleb at the Fair

Every year my school takes a day and goes to the Allegan County Fair. Since I was on maternity leave I thought I would take Caleb the same day my school was going to be there. He had a great time. The weather cooperated in the morning so we could see the animals and eat some lunch. But we didn't get to ride the rides because a huge storm rolled in. Needless to say it was a much need Caleb and Mommy day.

Labor Day

Every Labor Day weekend we spend with my extended DeYoung Family at the VanBuren Youth Camp. Each family has their own cabin to sleep in, and we use the "mess" hall for eating our meals, playing games, and just hanging out as a family. The weather was a little chilly so the kids really didn't go swimming at all, but they did get out on my dad's fishing boat, and they were able to play in the sand and do some fishing. We had a great time.
