John Ball Zoo

Jeff had a personal day and I had the Friday off, so we decided to go to the Zoo. It turned out to be a gorgeous day and Caleb LOVED all the animals at the zoo. His favorite was probably the monkeys, the bears, and the lion that poked his head out for a few seconds. We could tell he was absorbing a lot by just looking around at all the animals and listening to other kids talk.

New Room and New Experiences

Caleb's New Room:
Caleb has recently moved into a "big boy" bed in a new room downstairs, so we can get the nusery ready for the new baby coming very shortly. It took him about 2 weeks to adjust, but the transition went fairly well. If he does get out of his bed he stays in his room and just grabs a book (thank goodness he doesn't start roaming the basement......yet).

Caleb also got to meet my friend Shelly's new puppy. His name is Kobee and Caleb just absolutely LOVED him, until the puppy started nipping at his feet. Kobee would run right in front of Caleb and trip him...it was so cute to see them running around the yard together. Almost makes me want to have a puppy (key word "ALMOST").
